Villa Laura

This Villa is located in Anghiari, a little and medieval village in the center of Tuscany.

The place is caracterized by various types of colors and perfumes, beautiful sunsets and starry skies. 

From its top it is possible to admire the glen and rivers Arno and Tevere that drew the village. 

Villa Laura is excellent for its connections because it allows to visit famous places as Florence, Siena, Assisi, Lucca, Perugia, and Pisa, but the also lesser known villages of Sansepolcro, Cortona, Citerna e Monterchi. 

Famous artists have lived in this village, among the most important we can metion Michelangelo Buonarrotti, Piero della Francesca, Luca Pacioli and Leonardo da Vinci. In fact, it is known all over the world for its antique shops, for its art and culture and history. 

The property is located in a beautiful park surounded by secolar trees and parfumed flowers in every season: primroses, lilies, daisies, marigolds, brooms, geraniums, shrubs, climbing plants, jasmines, hydrangeas, sunflowers and many type of roses. 

Chairs, tables, hammocks and deck chairs are placed everywhere to allow you to see the variety of colors. 

In the sunniest point of the propriety, in the garden, you can find the swimming pool. It is illuminated for the evening, the access to the water is by ladder. 

The main house is composed by three floors. It is possible to access the ground floor by two entries, one in the kitchen and one in the reception room. 

The center of the house is in the reception area where is possible to find the lighting system and a little office including various magazines and turistic guides that will allow you to discover the most suggestive corners of the valley. 

The big lounge, caracterized by an antique fireplace and by an upright piano, is located in the close room of reception area, separated by a great stone arc. This area can be used to read, to study, to listen to music, to watch movies, to make meetings and important events. 

The three large sofas surround five spacious square tables that, if open, can accommodate many people. 

This wonderful Villa expresses the will to maintein an antique style and to be comfortable and functional.

Demonstrate it the alcove of stone,  the terracotta tiles, the wrought iron lamps, the persian carpet, the antique forniture, the Tuscany manifacture and the ancient tissues that compose the furnishing in all the rooms.

The kitchen is connected to an outspace with tables, chairs, washing local, a dryer and the necessary to spread the laundry.

In the kitchen there is all the necessary to cook.

There are six fires, a big oven, two big refrigerators, tables for the preparation of food, two sinks and a very efficient  dish washer, a fireplace, and a modern suction hood.

All the seven rooms, internal and outside, are spacious and illuminated with big windows and mosquito nets.

All of them, are well-furnished, with attencion to detail and with telephone, WI-FI connection, a minibar and mattresses studied to be extremely confortable.

You can reach the first floor trough the reading area and the kitchen by stairway, where you can find three rooms:

The first Suite: A double room with a beautiful view over the roses corner and  the valley.

The second Suite: a double room with balcony.

The third Suite: composed by a double room with direct access to the balcony and a sitting room separated by a drape with a double sofa bed for two people.

By a very scenic wooden staircase you can reach the top floor where there is a big library: this is the side of the house in which it said that there was a Lombard watchtower.

Here you can find the last suite.

The fourth suite: it is located on the top floor and it is composed by two separate rooms, perfect for up to 4 people:  a double bed room and a living area with a functioning fireplace and a double sofa bed. The two rooms are separated by a door but share the same bathroom; there are2 TVs, mini-bar and air conditioning.

About 30meters from the main house, there is a separated area with three bedrooms:.

This area develops into a unique floor, the first  characterized by a big wooden truss above the bed.

The floor is partly wooden part was recovered the ancient terracotta that was found in the chapel next door. You log in through a French door that leads directly from the ground floor in the master bedroom and is equipped with two bathrooms, a disabled toilet and a bathroom with hydro-massage shower. The room has a  classic wardrobe and one in which there is a small kitchen very popular with guests because equipped with everything needed for cooking. The room has its own garden with table and chairs, suitable for 2 or 3 people.

The last two suites are in a ex little church. 

This structure has been transformed in the years in a place to dry tobacco.  Now, this environment it was converted, after a long and laborious renovation, in two delicious suites.

At the ground floor there is a double room with bathroom that can hosts 2 or 3 people .

By a staircase you can arrive at the top floor where is the other suite, a double room with bathroom.

The two rooms are separated although its are one above the other.
